Your focus will be to take holistic responsibility for building and expanding our business with key Insurance clients. Based on your sales experience, business network, relationship management skills as well as domain knowledge in insurance you will help grow our business.

build and maintain relationships across various levels in the client organization, particularly in the C- Level/ Executive Management Level, and build a partner map to position the team and management
be active in client and project acquisition
be responsible for growing our business with one or more of our strategic insurance clients and expand it
be the commercially responsible person for client engagements
work closely with different teams in Cognizant to build winnable client value propositions
lead and / or be part of end-to-end sales and proposal process, including solution development, executive summary preparation for the proposal, deal review, timely submission with appropriate internal approvals, solution presentation to clients as well as final commercial negotiations and deal closing
develop insights into client's organization structure, business, and IT strategySince the focus of this role is on creating and building business as well as trustful client relationships, your personality as successful sales manager is the most important asset to us.
In addition, you should bring the following:
University degree and several years of successful experience in sales and client management
a good understanding of and experience with the latest business and technology trends in the insurance industry, including topics like cloud, data analytics, AI, automation, modern software engineering and digital customer experience
reliable business network in the insurance industry including the Insurtech scene as well as with Third Party Advisors
proven and consistent record in generating and closing business, building, scaling, and handling large account(s) in the insurance industry
experience in leading and closing consulting deals as well as large deals in managed services in insurance
knowledge of the regulatory requirements for the insurance industry including VAIT will be an advantage
fluent German and proficient English language
willingness to travel
