Regional Commodity Buyer (m/f/d), Metal fabrications
Support purchasing budget definition
Inform Manager, Regional Commodity (RCM) about market trends and developments
Negotiate with regional suppliers in agreement with RCM
Manage RFQs, bid analysis and supplier recommendations in agreement with RCM
Execute supplier visits / audits with Supplier Quality Engineers
Conduct cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team; Support commodity reporting and performance measurement
Assist global tenders, regular audits and supplier evaluations; manage everyday communication with suppliers
Carry out contract management, incl. contract data maintenance
Bachelor's degree in a Business or related disciplines (ie. Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Commodities Management)
Leverage supplier process knowledge for contract negotiations and continuous improvement opportunities
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English are a must, European languages, such as French, German and Italian are a definite plus
Ensure a comprehensive TCO that includes reliability, maintenance, operating, energy, transportation, and insurance costs across region
Purchasing, Supply Chain or Engineering background
Experience of metal / steel parts, processes, technology
Strong analytical skills with ability to execute operationally
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) as well as ERP systems like SAP
